Doves were released at the Sunday ceremony.
Volunteer Honor Guard from the USFS, BLM, and CDF, participated to honor
the fallen and the families.

Families formed a dancing circle. Much of the weekend included celebrating life
and healing the children.

We can't thank our Honor Guard and Bagpiper enough for helping us celebrate the lives of our firefighters.

Burk is honored to hold little Daniel Estrada, born just before his dad, Juan (Vista Grande Hotshot) died of cancer in December 2006.
Burk spent many hours on the phone with
Juan the months before he passed.
