In 2005, John Fidler, with the Missoula Rural Fire District, sent in 34 years worth of membership, that's right, he sent in $1,768. He said if we had been around when he began his fire career in 1973 he would have joined and continued to be a member to support our cause for wildland firefighters.

We have not established a formal lifetime membership program. We felt that John's willingness to support the Foundation in such a generous and giving way was worth a lifetime membership into the club...
